The Polish Baltic coast is located in northern Poland. We can find here island of Wolin, the eastern part of the island of Uznam, the Hel penisula, numerous coastal lakes, cliffs and sand dunes. A lot of dunes are in the Slowinzer National Park near Leba. In total, the Polish Baltic Sea coast has more than 500 km of sandy beaches and is suitable for both water sports and sunbathing. Day 1.: bicycle free
Welcome at the Baltic Sea

Individual arrival to your guest house in Świnoujście, where your Nature Travel guide will meet you at 5 p.m. The town is located on two islands, divided by the river Świna. Landmarks include the historical City Hall (at present the museum of fishery) and the lighthouse (the highest at the Baltic coast). After dinner in a restaurant we have a walk on the beach promenade. Accommodation in a guest house in Świnoujście.

Day 2.: ca. 55 km by bike
Port and seaside resort Dziwnów

After breakfast we begin our first bike trip. We will ride along the coast passing through Miedzyzdroje resort and the terrain of Woliński National Park. Accommodation and dinner in a guest house in/near Dziwnów.

Day 3.: ca. 65 km by bike
The biggest seaside resort

Today we cycle to Kołobrzeg, one of the biggest sea resorts on the Polish coast. The tour leads in a beautiful landscape along nice beaches, thus we take our time to have a swim in the sea. We enjoy our dinner in a restaurant. Accommodation in a hotel in Kołobrzeg.

Day 4.: ca. 75 km by bike,
The castle in Darłowo

Today’s route leads us in a beautiful scenery through many tourist places along the coast. Worth seeing places in Darłowo include the castle of the Prince of Pomorze, St. Mary’s Church and the baroque City Hall. Accommodation and dinner in a hotel in Darłowo.

Day 5.: ca. 55 km by bike
A promenade
Today we cycle along the Baltic coast in the direction of Ustka. We will be passing attractive places and beautiful beaches. In the evening we can enjoy the sunset in one of the cafés on the promenade there. Accommodation and dinner in a hotel in Ustka.

Day 6.: ca. 50 km by bike, ca. 60 km by bus
The open-air museum

Today’s route leads through the scenic Słowiński National Park, one of the most beautiful nature reserves in Poland. The tour ends in Kluki, where we tour the open-air museum. From Kluki we take a bus to our hotel. Accommodation and dinner in a hotel in Łeba.

Day 7.: ca. 15 km by bike
Wandering dunes

Today we visit once more the Słowiński National Park. By bike we get to the world-famous wandering dunes and then climb onto the highest dune (40 m high), a sort of desert-on-the-sea experience with a fantastic view of the Łebsko lake and the Baltic. And also a perfect place to have a swim. Accommodation and dinner as on day six.

Day 8. Tag: ca. 60 km by bike
The pearl of the Kashubian Region

Today we have a nice cycling trip to Krokowa and in the afternoon we tour the castle there. The castle, that was once the seat of the German family von Krockow, is regarded as a jewel of architecture. Today, we have a dinner in restaurant. Accommodation in a hotel in Krokowa.

Day 9.: ca. 60 km by bike, ca. 2 hours by ship
A ship cruise

On today’s programme we have a beautiful cycling tour along the peninsula Hela. Pine woods, magnificent beaches, picturesque dunes and fishermen’s houses – a true feast for our senses. In the afternoon we take a ship from Hel to Gdańsk and in the evening we enjoy our dinner in a restaurant in the Old Town there. Accommodation in a hotel in Gdańsk.

Day 10.
Gdańsk and the end of the tour
Right after breakfast we have a professionally guided tour of the Old Town in Gdańsk (ca. 3 hours). The tour ends about 12 a.m. – 1 p.m. Individual departure.

Condition of roads:
Flat and slightly elevated with gentle slopes; one must also be prepared for sandy sections, local roads, field and forest.

  • Accommodation in double or single rooms with bathrooms and WC, in good local hotels/guest houses
  • Half board (HB): breakfast and warm dinner. Vegetarian meals available upon earlier notice (please let us know if you eat fish)
